Accessibility Statement
At Glamp Murchison, we believe that the beauty of Uganda's wilderness should be enjoyed by as many people as possible. We are committed to making our guests feel welcome and will endeavour to accommodate individual accessibility needs wherever reasonably practicable.
Wheelchair Access and Accommodation
Our lodge is situated in a natural riverside environment, where uneven ground, changes in level and outdoor pathways may present challenges for guests with limited mobility.
Some of our tented accommodation can be accessed by wheelchair, although accessibility may vary between individual tents. Not all accommodation, bathrooms, pathways or facilities are suitable for wheelchair users.
We therefore strongly recommend contacting us before booking to discuss your particular requirements and establish whether our facilities will be suitable.
Dining and Guest Services
We recognise that accessing our main dining facilities may not be practical for every guest.
Where possible, we are pleased to offer alternative dining arrangements, including:
- Poolside dining, subject to safe and suitable access.
- Private dining at the poolside, where practical.
- Private dining at your tent, subject to its location and accessibility.
Our team will endeavour to make reasonable adjustments to improve your comfort and enjoyment during your stay.
Access to Lodge Facilities and Activities
Due to the natural terrain and layout of the lodge, certain facilities, including parts of the swimming pool area, recreational spaces, pathways and outdoor activities, may not be wheelchair accessible.
Some safari excursions and other activities may also involve vehicles, boarding arrangements or terrain that are unsuitable for guests with particular mobility requirements.
We will always endeavour to explain any known limitations and explore suitable alternatives wherever possible.
Planning Your Stay
We encourage guests with disabilities, reduced mobility or other accessibility requirements to contact us before confirming a reservation.
Our team will be happy to discuss your needs, provide information about our facilities and help you make an informed decision about your stay.
Whilst we will make every reasonable effort to assist, we cannot guarantee that all areas, accommodation or activities will be accessible or suitable for every guest.
Our aim is to provide a warm, considerate and enjoyable experience, whilst being open and realistic about the limitations of our natural environment.
